Mark's Midtown Coney Island Restaurant

New Year's Day breakfast at Mark's Coney Island
To start the New Year off with a bang, we walked a mile to our local Coney Island greasy spoon this morning.  Nothing like starting off the new year and the first full Weight Watcher's day with the Breakfast Platter!  Here's the menu.

Kris inhaled 2 huge pancakes, 2 scrambled eggs, and 3 sausage links!
I had called to be sure they were open and they were happy to see us - and we weren't the only ones getting a jump on our day.  After we were fully caffeinated, we dug into the feast.

2 over easy eggs, corned beef hash and wheat toast
I like this place - it's fast, friendly, predictable - nothing fancy.  If you like chili cheese fries, a side of bacon, and a grilled cinnamon roll for breakfast, this is your kind of place.  We ordered 4 meals, 1 endless coffee, 2 sodas and a glass of juice - with tip, the bill came to $33.  Now for the walk back home.....
