Solo Trip to Sam's Club

This is the trailer we bought a few weeks ago to manage our grocery shopping.  For the price, it's been good so far.  One could certainly spend more for a similar product.
After being car-free for a number of weeks, we realize that we are shopping a little differently.  With a car, Craig usually made the rounds of several store to optimize sales and volume discounts.

With a trailer in the rear, Craig isn't visiting as many outlying stores.  Instead, we are shopping more selectively at nearby stores.  In the past, we found our local Busch's too expensive.  These days, we've started selectively buying a few things from Busch's using sale circulars and coupons.  It's a heck of a lot closer, epsecially for milk and fresh vegies.

It has been a few weeks since the last big Sam's Club trip and we needed a few things for the weekend.  Today's haul included

cheddar cheese
pizza cheese
frozen fruit
ice cream
apples
bleach
celery
romaine lettuce
tortillas
tortilla chips
batteries for bike lights
carrots

Craig took a different route home as there was a tremendous head wind on the way back home with a full trailer.  I think there should be another Murphy's Law for bikers:  there is always a head wind!
