Monday Night Dinner

Tonights dinner was pan fried pork chops, pan gravy, oven fried potatoes, large romaine salad, homeade ranch dressing and fruit-veg smoothie (and oatmeal bars from  yesterday!).  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to totally arrange the photos in the proper order...

The smoothie was a combination of shredded carrots, 1/2 red bell pepper, 1 small red apple quartered,  1 ripe banana, 2 fresh pitted peaches, and 2 cups frozen blueberries. When ready to process, fill container half way full with fresh filtered water.  After a minute on high, the mixture will be fully processed - no lumps.  This makes more than 5 8-ounce servings.  There was enough left over for somebody's breakfast drink.

The french fries were made from 3 medium russet potatoes, washed, shoestring-sliced by hand, tossed in high-heat vegie oil with garlic salt and pepper and roasted in a high heat oven (435 degees) for 30 minutes or so, turning with a spatula every 10 minutes or so.
