With our cars out of the way and the garage getting cleaned out, it's time to get rid of another gasoline consumer - the powerboat. We own a 2003 Bayliner bur rarely take it out of the garage. Now that we don't have anything to tow the boat with, we're donating the boat to Purple Heart http://purpleheartcars.org/. As with Junk My Car, Purple Heart will schedule a tow truck for pickup and haul it away. Once Purple Heart sells the boat, we will receive a receipt for a tax deduction.
We received notification this morning that a "check is in the mail" for our junked mini-van. With that money, we are purchasing a trailer to attach to a bike for serious shopping expeditions! Photos to come.
