Ms. Shah, a fifth grade teacher at King Elementary School in Ann Arbor came by to pick up the roto tiller tonight.  Ms. Shah organizes the composting at King, teaches 5th grade, volunteers for the Raynor Farm and help with Green Adventures Camp which is at Frains Lake in Ypsi, a Master's student by night, supports 350.org, and sells home-grown veg at Farmer's Market's around the county.  Way to go Ms. Shah!  And she's met Bill McKibben and the Dali Lama.

Ms. Shah would like to start a community garden at King Elementary School.  So far, she has 20 donated hand weeders, and a roto tiller.  If you would like to donate items or funds or time, contact Ms. Shah at shahn@aaps.k12.mi.us

  1. Thank you so much for the rototiller! I can't wait to use it and help others start gardens of their own!

  2. Reply-Craig and I are thrilled that the tiller found a good home with you. From you, we learned about 350.org and signed up our garden for the local challenge and take some pride that you will help others with the tiller to meet the local garden challenge.
