I bake bread about once a week. For years we hand-ground Eden's organic hard red winter wheat and mixed it with white floor for a great artisan no-knead bread baked in a cast iron dutch oven. And let me tell you, it's a chore/labor of love to hand-grind hard winter wheat. Here's a picture of the bread that is only 50% organic wheat that I used to make before I became a Vitamix owner- fabulous but not as good as it could be.
When I make my new and improved 100% whole wheat bread using my Vitamix 5200 this weekend, I'll post the recipe and pictures. Grinding wheat with a Vitamix 5200 takes about a minute-plus. Incredible!
